The Role of Porosity in SERS

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores how engineered porous materials enhance surface‐enhanced Raman scatering (SERS) spectroscopy by synergizing analyte enrichment and electromagnetic field amplification. It is systematically evaluated four classes, nanoporous metals, plasmonic polymers, mesoporous silica, and metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs), highlighting their unique

Economic Growth, Technological Progress, and Social Capital: The Inverted U Hypothesis [PDF]

open access: yes
We set up a theoretical framework to analyze the possible role of economic growth and technological progress in the erosion of social capital. Under certain parameters, the relationship between technological progress and social capital can take the shape

Terahertz Chiral Recognition Based on Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
A novel terahertz chiral sensing method based on a multilayer metallic metasurface is proposed. The left‐handed circularly polarized and right‐handed circularly polarized components in the linearly polarized illuminating light into two focal points and convert them back into linear polarization for convenient measurement.
