Social Forestry and Sustainable Development
2019Social forestry is tree-related production for personal and local use. In many parts of the developing world, it is more acceptable technically—socially, culturally, and economically—than large-scale forestry and agroforestry. Social forestry technologies are simple, replicable, and low-risk, and unit costs can be kept in line.
