Improved Direct Ink Writing of Liquid Metal Foams via Liquid Additives

The ability to pattern liquid metal is useful for making soft electrical and thermal devices. Dispensing liquid metal from a nozzle naturally results in the formation of spheroidal droplets, making direct‐write printing challenging. Liquid metal foams containing pockets of air can extrude as filaments, albeit inconsistently.

People Counting and Positioning Using Low‐Resolution Infrared Images for FeFET‐Based In‐Memory Computing

In this work, low‐resolution infrared imaging is combined with a 28 nm FeFET IMC architecture to enable compact, energy‐efficient edge inference. MLC FeFET devices are experimentally characterized, and controlled multi‐level current accumulation is validated at crossbar array level.

Capacitive versus Faradaic Microelectrodes for Extracellular Stimulation: A Fully Coupled FEM–Hodgkin–Huxley Study of Thresholds and Current Redistribution

Advanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A fully coupled FEM–HH model shows that ideally capacitive microelectrodes can achieve lower charge‐density thresholds than Faradaic contacts under current‐controlled stimulation. The advantage stems from the dynamics of surface current density on capacitive interfaces, which redirects current beneath adherent neurons.

Ban Glyphosate—Does It Affect the Swedish Farmers' Willingness to Grow Cover Crops?

ABSTRACT The cultivation of cover crops is one of the new Eco‐scheme practices introduced in Sweden. This study examines how the design of policy attributes of these schemes influences farmers' willingness to grow cover crops on arable land, with particular focus on the potential impact of a glyphosate ban.
