HUMAN CAPITAL AS A CRITERION OF SOCIAL INEQUALITY OF THE POST-INDUSTRIAL SOCIETY

open access: yesRussian Journal of Economics and Law, 2012
The article presents the theoretical issues of investigating the social ineqauality in post-industrial society; grounds the criterion of the social inequality, that is, the human capital of the subjects.

ETIOLOGI GANGGUAN KEPRIBADIAN ANTISOSIAL [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Until recently, there has not been a good supporter of the theory to explain why antisocial personality can be developed. Existing evidence about the causes of antisocial personality disorder is a study of foster children in genetic factors indicate that

Crucial parameters for precise copy number variation detection in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded solid cancer samples

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.

Effects of Post-Weaning Social Isolation and Oxytocin on Adult Anxiety and Sociability in Female Rats

open access: yesImpulse: The Premier Undergraduate Neuroscience Journal, 2018
Positive social interactions during childhood and adolescence are essential for human neurobehavioral development. All social animals show persistent physiological and behavioral deficits after extended periods of social isolation.

Affect and Fairness [PDF]

open access: yes
We investigate the role of affect and deliberation on social preferences. In our laboratory experiment subjects decide on a series of mini Dictator games while they are under varying degrees of cognitive load.

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Do experimental subjects favor their friends? [PDF]

open access: yes
Ideally we would like subjects of experiments to be perfect strangers so that the situation they face at the lab is not just a part of a long run interaction.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
