Generalized Dynamic Programming Principle and Sparse Mean-Field Control Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper we study optimal control problems in Wasserstein spaces, which are suitable to describe macroscopic dynamics of multi-particle systems. The dynamics is described by a parametrized continuity equation, in which the Eulerian velocity field is

Interbank lending with benchmark rates: Pareto optima for a class of singular control games [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
We analyze a class of stochastic differential games of singular control, motivated by the study of a dynamic model of interbank lending with benchmark rates.

Study on the Interconstruction Phenomenon of Brand Communication and Consumption Culture: Taking Chayan Yuese as an Example [PDF]

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences
Nowadays, the traditional way of tea drinking is no longer applicable to the fast-paced social development, in order to meet the new needs of tea drinking, many new tea drink brands have been born in the society. “Chayan Yuese, as a representative of new

Cooperation prevails when individuals adjust their social ties. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS Computational Biology, 2006
Conventional evolutionary game theory predicts that natural selection favours the selfish and strong even though cooperative interactions thrive at all levels of organization in living systems.

Population and colony structure of an ant with territorial males, Cardiocondyla venustula

open access: yesBMC Evolutionary Biology, 2019
Background Many species of social insects have large-scale mating and dispersal flights and their populations are therefore often relatively homogenous.

Viscosity critical behaviour at the gel point in a 3d lattice model

open access: yes, 2000
Within a recently introduced model based on the bond-fluctuation dynamics we study the viscoelastic behaviour of a polymer solution at the gelation threshold.

Experimental Evaluation of 100Cr6 Steel Microindented Surfaces Under Lubricated Nonconformal Point Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

A bridge between liquids and socio-economic systems: the key role of interaction strengths

open access: yes, 2004
One distinctive and pervasive aspect of social systems is the fact that they comprise several kinds of agents. Thus, in order to draw parallels with physical systems one is lead to consider binary (or multi-component) compounds.
