Web Routineness and Limits of Predictability: Investigating Demographic and Behavioral Differences Using Web Tracking Data [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
Understanding human activities and movements on the Web is not only important for computational social scientists but can also offer valuable guidance for the design of online systems for recommendations, caching, advertising, and personalization. In this work, we demonstrate that people tend to follow routines on the Web, and these repetitive patterns

Direct Ink Writing of Conductive Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the use of direct ink writing (DIW) for fabricating conductive hydrogels with customizable 3D structures. It outlines the rheological requirements for successful DIW, followed by an exploration of the materials and ink formulations used to impart electronic and/or ionic conductivity to hydrogels while maintaining printability ...

Consistency Ensuring in Social Web Services Based on Commitments Structure [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
Web Service is one of the most significant current discussions in information sharing technologies and one of the examples of service oriented processing. To ensure accurate execution of web services operations, it must be adaptable with policies of the social networks in which it signs up. This adaptation implements using controls called 'Commitment'.

A Methodology to Extract Social Network from the Web Snippet [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2012
The Web has been chosen as a basic infrastructure to gain the social structure information, through the social network extraction, from all over the world. However, most of the web documents are unstructured and lack of semantics. Moreover, that network is subject to all kinds of changes and dynamics, and a network can be very complex due to the large ...

Development of a Novel, All‐Aromatic High Tensile Modulus Liquid Crystalline Polyimide for Fused Filament Fabrication Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel, high tensile modulus, fully aromatic thermotropic liquid crystalline polyimide (LCPI) with better solvent resistance and thermal stability is synthesized. Tensile specimens are fabricated using both injection molding and FFF processes, accomplished via lower viscosity enabled by the LC phase.
