Relationship‐building sometimes helps and sometimes hinders the spread of conservation initiatives

This study models conservation practice diffusion across two social networks to assess the impact of relationship‐building interventions. Results show that added connections can both help and hinder practice adoption, emphasizing the need for strategic outreach, resource allocation, and network design.
