Cell wall polysaccharides determine cooking quality in cassava roots
Cassava is a vital food source for millions worldwide, crucial for food security and economic stability. This study analyzed cell wall polysaccharides in cassava roots to understand their impact on cooking properties. We found these polysaccharides influence the textural attributes of cassava roots, essential for both cooking and consumption.

The rate of micelle solubilization (SR) can be appraised following the decrease of the radius of a macroscopic drop of oil in contact with a surfactant solution [Todorov, 2002]. Alternatively, the time required for the dissolution of a liquid dispersion can be used for this purpose.

Unraveling the Electron Transfer in Cupriavidus necator – Insights Into Mediator Reduction Mechanics
This study investigates mediator interaction mechanisms in Cupriavidus necator within bioelectrochemical systems. C. necator efficiently reduces redox mediators. Cytochrome c oxidase primarily facilitates electron transfer to ferricyanide, with a secondary role proposed for nitrite reductase.
