THE CARDIAC AND VASCULAR EFFECTS OF SODIUM GLUTAMATE
Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology, 1980SUMMARY1. The cardiovascular effects of sodium glutamate were investigated in anaesthetized dogs with bolus injections, intravenous infusions and rabbit isolated papillary muscles.2. The intravenous bolus injections of sodium glutamate resulted in slight, transient decreases in contractile force at doses of 58 and 117 mg/kg, which were followed by ...

Enhancement of anammox bacterial activity by sodium glutamate
Chemosphere, 2020In this paper, the enhancement of sodium glutamate (SG) on activity of anaerobic ammonia oxidizing (anammox) bacteria was investigated by batch tests. The results illustrated that SG played an important role in enhancing anammox bacterial activity when the SG dosage ranged from 0.50 to 1.25 mM, and the optimal SG concentration was 1.00 mM.
