Dielectric properties of potassium sodium niobate mixed system

Materials Research Bulletin, 2001
Abstract Ceramic pellets of Potassium Sodium Niobate (K x Na 1−x NbO 3 ) system have been prepared using solid solution reaction method. The prepared samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction method and grain size have been calculated using SEM photographs.

Synthesis and Properties of Modified Potassium-Sodium Niobate Ceramics

Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2021
The effect of modification (in the А and В sublattices) on the crystal structure parameters, microstructure, and dielectric and local piezoelectric properties of perovskite ceramics (1 – x)(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3–xLa(Ag0.5Sb0.5)O3 was studied. At increased concentration of the second component, the lattice volume and average grain diameter decreased, and the ...

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF POTASSIUM SODIUM NIOBATE PHASES

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2008
Potassium niobate KNbO 3 and some compounds of ( K 1-x Na x) NbO 3 (x = 0.3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.7) ceramics powders were successfully prepared by the solid-state reaction method using a non-stoichiometric mixture of starting materials. A possible formation of these phases was proposed based on the experimental results.

Modified lead-free potassium sodium niobate (KNN) and their properties

2012 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium, 2012
In this study, effects of lithium and tantalum modification on the structural and dielectric properties of potassium sodium niobate (KNN) ceramics were investigated. All ceramics were fabricated by pressureless sintering technique. Li, Li-Ta modifications were improved densification and thus dielectric properties. The dielectric properties of Li and Ta

Superior Piezoelectric Properties in Potassium–Sodium Niobate Lead‐Free Ceramics

Advanced Materials, 2016
A superior piezoelectric coefficient (d33 = 570 ± 10 pC N"1 ), the highest value reported to date in potassium-sodium niobate-based ceramics, is obtained in (1-x-y)K1-w Naw Nb1-z Sbz O3-y BaZrO3-x - Bi0.5 K0.5 HfO3 ceramics. This high d33 value can be ascribed to the co-existence of "nano-scale strain domains" (1-2 nm) and a high density of ...

Electrical properties of sodium potassium niobate/mullite ceramic composites

Ferroelectrics, 2017
ABSTRACTIn the present study, the composites between KNN and mullite were fabricated via a solid-state reaction technique. KNN was calcined at 900°C and mullite which synthesized from kaolinite (Ranong, Thailand) was calcined at 1300°C. Effects of KNN content on the composites properties such as densification and electrical properties including ...

Doping Modification Of Photorefractive Crystal Potassium Sodium Strontium Barium Niobate

Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics Europe, 1996
During recent year, the photorefractive materials are attractive in many applications such as optical image processing and optical computing because they have more lower threshold power and easily realize phase conjugation Potassium sodium strontium barium niobate crystal is one of the best candidates.
