Uludağ Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Felsefe Dergisi, 2023 Toplum içinde gördükleri itibara karşı neredeyse tüm diyaloglarında Sofistlere ve sofistik söz söyleme tarzına karşı eleştirilerini sıralayan Platon, onları hiçbir eserinde Sofist diyalogundaki kadar sistemli bir şekilde eleştirmemiştir. Bu diyalogun ayrıymış gibi görünen ancak birbirini tamamlayan iki ana savı vardır.
