Soft-switching PWM three-level converters
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2001This paper proposes a family of modulation strategies for PWM three-level (TL) converters. The modulation strategies can be classified into two kinds according to the turn-off sequence of the two switches of the pair of switches. The concept of the leading switches and the lagging switches is introduced to realize soft-switching for PWM TL converters ...

Soft-Switching dc-dc Converters
2017A class of dc-dc converters, known in the literature as soft-switching resonant converters, has been thoroughly investigated in recent years for its various attractive features. Soft switching means that one or more power switches in a dc-dc converter have either the turn-on or turn-off switching losses eliminated. This is in contrast to hard switching,

Multiple-input Soft-switching Ćuk Converter
2017 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2017An edge-resonant soft-switching time-sharing (TS) multiple-input (MI) dc-dc converter is introduced in this paper. The proposed converter can achieve high efficiency with zero-current switching (ZCS) and zero-voltage switching (ZVS). The zero-current switching (ZCS) can be realized on switch turned-on states, and the zero-voltage switching (ZVS) can be

Soft-switching fifth-order boost converter
2011 Annual IEEE India Conference, 2011In this paper a fifth-order boost converter with true zero-current and zero-voltage transition (ZCZVT) of the main switch is proposed. Salient features of the converter, operating modes for continuous inductor current mode of operation are discussed.
