Fuzzy Soft Expert Set and Its Application
In 1999, Molodtsov introduced the concept of soft set theory as a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. Alkhazaleh and Salleh (2011) define the concept of soft expert sets where the user can know the opinion of all experts in one model and give an application of this concept in decision making problem.

Passively mode-locked laser using an entirely centred erbium-doped fiber [PDF]
This paper describes the setup and experimental results for an entirely centred erbium-doped fiber laser with passively mode-locked output. The gain medium of the ring laser cavity configuration comprises a 3 m length of two-core optical fiber, wherein ...

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Possibility Fuzzy Soft Expert Set
In this paper we introduce the concept of possibility fuzzy soft expert set .We also define its basic operations, namely complement, union, intersection, AND and OR, and study some of their properties. Finally, we give an application of this theory in solving a decision making problem.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Alkhazaleh and Salleh defined the concept of soft expert sets [Advances in Decision Sciences, Article ID 757868, 2011]. In this paper, we make some modification to the soft expert sets. On the modified soft expert sets we then construct a decision making method which selects an elements from the alternatives.

Fuzzy Logic and Its Uses in Finance: A Systematic Review Exploring Its Potential to Deal with Banking Crises [PDF]
The major success of fuzzy logic in the field of remote control opened the door to its application in many other fields, including finance. However, there has not been an updated and comprehensive literature review on the uses of fuzzy logic in the ...

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...
