We investigated the frequency distributions of flares with and without coronal mass ejections (CMEs) as a function of flare parameters (peak flux, fluence, and duration of soft X-ray flares).

LL‐37 Driven Phase Transition and Stacking in Oligolamellar Gram‐Negative Bacterial Membrane Models
This work establishes oligolamellar bacterial membrane models to investigate how LL‐37 disrupts the complex dual‐bilayer architecture of Gram‐negative bacteria. Combining SAXS, cryo‐TEM, electrophoretic mobility measurements, and coarse‐grained simulations, it reveals cardiolipin‐driven phase transitions leading to bicelle‐like structures and membrane ...

Soft Law Strategy in the ASEAN Charter Framework
This research examines the role of soft law strategies within the framework of the ASEAN Charter to enhance regional cooperation. Soft law, which refers to nonlegally binding agreements, principles, and declarations, is an important instrument in ...

We used multiple analytical techniques at the Psiché beamline, Synchrotron Soleil, and at D20 instrument in Institut Laue Langevin, to study the densification of thiophosphate solid electrolytes Li3PS4 and Li6PS5Cl. Our combined X‐ray diffraction, absorption tomography, absorption density, neutron power diffraction, and ionic conductivity analyses ...

Revealing accretion onto black holes: X-ray reflection throughout three outbursts of GX 339-4
Understanding the dynamics behind black hole state transitions and the changes they reflect in outbursts has become long-standing problem. The X-ray reflection spectrum describes the interaction between the hard X-ray source (the power-law continuum) and

Developing recyclable materials for magnetic robotics that combine rapid response and self‐healing properties is challenging. Hence, this study focuses on the integration of magnetothermal nanoparticles into a dynamic sorbitol‐based vitrimer, a recyclable composite capable of remote actuation and self‐healing by magnetic heating.

Soft law and its implications for institutional balance in the EC
The EU avails itself increasingly of soft law instruments, in certain situations to the detriment of legislation. The general assumption underlying this more diversified use of legal instruments is that this contributes to the legitimacy, effectiveness ...

Abstract This chapter examines how domestic courts give recognition, through their judicial reasoning, to soft law. The concept of soft law gives recognition to international normative standards which do not fall under the recognized sources of international law (conventions, custom, and the general principles of law). Within the context

Soft Law in the European Union - The Changing Nature of EU Law
This article is based on the assumption that there is a continuum running from non-legal positions to legally binding and judicially controlled commitments with, in between these two opposite types of norms, commitments that can be described as soft law.

This work develops 3D‐printable tribopolymer networks that can enhance triboelectric performance under high humidity environments. Polar hydrophilic functional groups and incorporation of zwitterionic monomers promote bound‐water–dominated interfacial polarization thereby increasing electrical outputs.
