Direct Ink Writing of Conductive Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the use of direct ink writing (DIW) for fabricating conductive hydrogels with customizable 3D structures. It outlines the rheological requirements for successful DIW, followed by an exploration of the materials and ink formulations used to impart electronic and/or ionic conductivity to hydrogels while maintaining printability ...

Influence of 3D-printing conditions on physical properties of hydrogel objects

open access: yesMechanical Engineering Journal, 2018
In this paper, we present the relationship between printing parameters of a 3D gel printer "Soft and Wet Intelligent Matter-Easy Realizer (SWIM-ER)" and mechanical properties of the fabricated gel objects by SWIM-ER.

The stability of 12-fold symmetry soft-matter quasicrystals [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
This letter presents a study on the stability of the 12-fold symmetry soft-matter quasicrystals from the angle of thermodynamics combining dynamics of the matter. The results are quantitative, which depend upon only the material constants of the novel phase and very simple and intuitive, these material constants can be measured by experiments.
