Tunable Nanoscale Metal‒Molecule‒Semiconductor Junctions via Light‐Controlled Molecular Orientation
This study demonstrates tunable molecular circuits on silicon electrodes through UV‐controlled surface reactions involving hydroxyl and alkyne groups, enabling precise formation of Si─O─C or Si─C bonds. The proximity of oxygen atoms to the silicon surface enhances charge transfer, resulting in lower resistance and faster electron transfer kinetics ...

CH4 Decomposition on Nickel Phyllosilicate: Switching from Tip to Base Growth of Carbon Nanotubes
Nickel phyllosilicate is an excellent catalyst precursor for CH4 decomposition, forming small and strongly anchored nickel nanoparticles that promote base‐growth of carbon nanotubes and hydrogen production. The catalyst resists sintering at even 750 °C.

This review explores the potential of antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) and nanotechnology for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections. It analyzes bacterial resistance mechanisms, the antimicrobial actions of AMPs, and advances in nanocarriers, such as lipid‐based, polymeric, metallic, and mesoporous silica systems, that enhance peptide protection ...

This study presents a modular platform that integrates engineered proteins with DNA nanostructures to create dynamic, multifunctional materials. By combining orthogonal protein‐protein and protein‐DNA conjugation strategies, the authors demonstrate controlled self‐assembly into nanofibers and nanorods, along with reversible enzyme activation.
