Self‐Sustained Oscillations in MoS2 Optomechanical Resonators for VHF Optical Radio

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This work demonstrates the use of 2D materials drum resonators to generate and modulate radio‐over‐laser signals. Taking advantage of the self‐sustained oscillations arising in cavity optomechanical systems by a continuous wave visible laser, a radio frequency signal is generated and frequency‐modulated by just changing a DC gate voltage.

Atomic‐Level Insight of Carbon‐Based Anodes for Advanced Sodium Storage: Electrochemical Mechanisms and Molecular Simulation‐Assisted Modification

open access: yescMat, Volume 3, Issue 2, June 2026.
Hard carbon is a promising anode for sodium‐ion batteries, yet its Na+ storage mechanism remains elusive. This review summarizes Na+ storage behavior in hard carbon from first‐principles (DFT) calculations, establishes structure–function relationships, summarizes DFT‐based evaluation methods, and provides perspectives for the rational theoretical ...

Software Defined Radio-Based Wireless Sensing System

open access: yesSensors, 2022
In this paper, we investigate the application of using software-defined radio (SDR) and surface acoustic wave (SAW) device for wireless measurement of the response of in situ sensors. SDR uses software to realize different communication functions.

A Trust‐Based Random Forest Approach for Detecting Blackhole Attacks in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2026.
A multi‐metric trust framework combined with Random Forest learning detects and mitigates blackhole attacks in VANETs. By dynamically isolating malicious vehicles, the model sustains high packet delivery, low latency, and accurate intrusion detection under severe attack conditions.

Software Defined Radio with Zynq Ultrascale+ RFSoC

open access: yes, 2023
This book introduces Zynq Ultrascale+ RFSoC, a technology that brings real, single-chip Software Defined Radio (SDR) to the marketplace. RFSoC devices are the first adaptive SoCs (Systems-on-Chip) to monolithically integrate multiple RF signal chains ...

Multi‐Source Adaptive‐Fusion Transfer Learning for Streamflow Forecasting in Data‐Scarce Catchments

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Streamflow gauging records remain sparse in many regions, limiting hydrological predictions. Transfer Learning (TL), which uses knowledge from data‐rich sources to improve predictions in data‐scarce targets, has emerged as a promising solution.

A REVIEW ON VARIOUS TYPES OF SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIOS (SDRS) IN RADIO COMMUNICATION

open access: yesInternational Journal of Research in Engineering and Technology, 2014
Software Defined Radio (SDR) promises to deliver a cost effective and flexible solution by implementing a wide variety of wireless protocols in software. The SDR became more popular in recent years because of its abilities to realize many applications without a lot of efforts in the integration of different component.
