Loops software pipelining on ARM platform
This article describes improvements we made in the implementation of swing modulo scheduling (SMS), a well-known software pipelining technique, in the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) for ARM platform.

A mathematical formulation of the loop pipelining problem [PDF]
This paper presents a mathematical model for the loop pipelining problem that considers several parameters for optimization and supports any combination of resource and timing constraints. The unrolling degree of the loop is one of the variables explored

Efficient Implementations of Molecular Dynamics Simulations for Lennard-Jones Systems
Efficient implementations of the classical molecular dynamics (MD) method for Lennard-Jones particle systems are considered. Not only general algorithms but also techniques that are efficient for some specific CPU architectures are also explained.

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Reducing Power of BLAKE3 implementations with dedicated FPGA resources [PDF]
The BLAKE cryptographic hash functions are efficiently expressed in software; however, their hardware implementations do not match the speed and power efficiency of alternative methods.

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...
