Curvature‐Tuned Friction at Electrified Ionic Liquid Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Graphene curvature plays a key role in friction electrotunability at single‐asperity contacts lubricated by ionic liquids. A 9 nm radius yields stronger tunability than larger radii, with distinct friction coefficients at low and high loads indicating a shift in the slippage plane.

Sustaining software process improvement (SPI) in software-developing organisations

open access: yes, 2017
This thesis aims to extend prior research on Software Process Improvement (SPI) by examining the issue of sustainment i.e. what organisational factors influence the sustainment of SPI? It uses insights from prior literature-based research on process improvement and multiple longitudinal case studies to generate a model of organisational context factors

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

Software process improvement: Awareness, use, and benefits in Canadian software development firms

open access: yesRAE: Revista de Administração de Empresas, 2017
Since 1982, the software development community has been concerned with the delivery of quality systems. Software process improvement (SPI) is an initiative to avoid the delivery of low quality systems.

MPS Manager: A Serious Game to Enhance Teaching on Software Development Process Quality

open access: yesInformatics in Education
Modern software companies prioritize high-quality products for competitiveness, and Software Process Improvement (SPI) models help achieve this. In Brazil, the Brazilian Software Process Improvement Model (MPS-SW model) is widely used, but its complexity
