Canada-US Softwood Lumber Trade Revisited: Examining the Role of Substitution Bias in the Context of a Spatial Price Equilibrium Framework [PDF]
In the last two decades, softwood lumber trade between Canada and the United States has been characterized by numerous trade restrictions. Many studies have attempted to quantify the effects of such sanctions, and in doing so, softwood lumber was modeled

Upcycling Industrial Lignin Into Cationic Hydrogels With Potential for Sustainable Plant Protection
Industrial lignin is upcycled into cationic lignin (CL) and embedded within chitosan–genipin (CH–GPN) hydrogels to form bioactive hydrogel networks with potential for antimicrobial plant protection. The CL‐embedded CH–GPN hydrogels retain porous, gel‐like properties and show enhanced in vitro inhibition of the plant pathogen Pseudomonas syringae.

INTERNATIONAL PRICE TRANSMISSION IN THE U.S.-JAPAN SOFTWOOD TRADE [PDF]
This article explores the supposition that international price margins in the U.S. Pacific Northwest-Japan softwood trade are influenced by nontariff trade barriers and inelastic supplies of international transportation services.

Material Characterization of Lignin‐Filled Polypropylene Composites
Ground and spray‐dried lignin powders are compared as fillers for polypropylene composites. Differences in powder preparation methods are associated with differences in powder characteristics and composite behavior after melt compounding. Spray‐dried lignin produces smaller particles and fewer large agglomerates, while a 5 wt% lignin loading provides a
