High‐Conductivity, Self‐Healing, and Adhesive Ionic Hydrogels for Health Monitoring and Human‐Machine Interactions Under Extreme Cold Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 16, April 24, 2025.
This study presents an ionic conductive hydrogel (ICH) with excellent conductivity, self‐healing, self‐adhesion, and long‐term stability under extreme cold conditions. It shows significant potential for non‐invasive, continuous health monitoring, conformally adhering to skin without signal crosstalk, enabling real‐time, high‐fidelity signal ...

Customization of Ethylene Glycol (EG)‐Induced BmoR‐Based Biosensor for the Directed Evolution of PET Degrading Enzymes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 13, April 3, 2025.
PET degrading enzymes are evolved employing a novel fluorescence high‐throughput screening tool via a performance‐improved ethylene glycol (EG)‐induced BmoR‐based biosensor modified by TF engineering. PET waste is completely depolymerized into its basic units at moderate temperatures.

Interactions Between Bacterivorous Nematodes and Bacteria Reduce N2O Emissions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 12, March 27, 2025.
Multi‐methodological approaches are used, including microcosm‐based insights on potential microbiome‐nematode links and a range of follow‐up confirmative experiments to show that bacterivorous nematodes significantly increased the abundance of denitrifying bacteria, suggesting that facilitation rather than predation predominated in interactions between
