Pressure of the Wheels of Grain Transfer Bins on the Soil
The size and mass characteristics of 22-50 m3 grain transfer bins were analyzed. The parameters of the tires used, the values of the vertical impacts on the tractor coupling device and the bunker support wheels on the soil are given. The maximum pressures of wheel vehicles on the soil are compared with the regulated permissible values.

A Learning Algorithm based on High School Teaching Wisdom [PDF]
A learning algorithm based on primary school teaching and learning is presented. The methodology is to continuously evaluate a student and to give them training on the examples for which they repeatedly fail, until, they can correctly answer all types of

Parallel wiring of bioelectrochemical devices with conventional generators unexpectedly boosts output. A biophotovoltaic paired with a solar cell delivers up to 50% more power at low loads than their separate contributions; a plant microbial fuel cell shows similar current gains.

Slow carbon and nutrient accumulation in trees established following fire exclusion in the southwestern United States. [PDF]
Increasing tree density that followed fire exclusion after the 1880s in the southwestern United States may have also altered nutrient cycles and led to a carbon (C) sink that constitutes a significant component of the U.S. C budget.

Anti‐Slip Material‐Based Strategies and Approaches
This review highlights the principle mechanisms of slipping at the microscale, linking contact mechanics with a friction behavior model for surface interfaces. Main strategies to develop anti‐slip properties to the surfaces are discussed alongside standardized testing approaches.

3D Printed Omniphobic Slippery Liquid Infused Porous Surfaces for Low Surface Tension Repellency
A 3D printing strategy fabricates omniphobic slippery liquid‐infused porous structures with lubricant reservoirs and interconnected microchannels. A post‐printing surface treatment modifies the porous surface to ensure compatibility with the infused fluorinated lubricant.

Net traction of a driven wheel as affected by slippage, velocity and wheel load
The objective was to assess the effect of velocity at three levels (i.e. 0.8, 1 and 1.2 m/s), slippage at three levels (i.e. 10, 12 and 15%) and three levels of wheel load (i.e.
