Thermal Shifts Dominate Single‐Gene Responses to Transcription‐Targeting Antibiotics
Thermal shifts reshape bacterial responses to transcription‐targeting antibiotics. In E. coli, temperature can dominate antibiotic‐induced genome‐wide expression, particularly outside 30°C–39°C, through changes in adenosine triphosphate (ATP), nucleoid organization, and drug‐target engagement.

Carbon Nanotubes for Slope Stabilization of Silty Soil
Landslides are a common occurrence that results in both human and financial losses each year around the world. The conventional methods use a variety of techniques, such as the application of lime, cement, and fly ash, for slope stabilization. Nevertheless, all these materials, to some extent, have their own shortcomings.

Rhizodeposition Drives One Third of Belowground Carbon Input in Agroecosystems
This study quantifies photosynthesized C allocation in the plant–soil system across six crop types: barley, wheat, maize, rice, legumes and grasses. It reports C partitioning into shoot respiration, shoot‐C, root‐C, net rhizodeposition and root‐derived CO2, providing standardized percentage averages and GPP‐derived absolute values as a robust baseline ...

Soil pH Amelioration Synergizes Carbon Accrual with Yield Gains Under Organic Substitution
Soil pH shifts towards neutrality in both acidic and alkaline soils under organic substitution. A global synthesis links pH amelioration to soil organic carbon accrual through enhanced microbial biomass after accounting for added organic carbon and its interaction with pH. This pH amelioration‐shared soil organic carbon accrual accounts for 5.1–8.6% of

Mineralization-based biochar unlocks sustainable restoration of soda saline-alkaline farmlands
Soda saline–alkaline soils are expanding worldwide and pose a growing threat to soil fertility, carbon stability, and food production. Conventional amendments can alleviate salinity–alkalinity, yet they often fail to immobilize reactive carbonate ...

Performance and Environmental Impact of Flexible Temperature Sensors on Cellulose‐Based Substrate
Toward low‐environmental‐impact approach to thin‐film sensors fabrication using natural ingredient‐based triacetyl cellulose (TAC) substrate. Temperature sensors are fabricated and characterized based on thermal and mechanical performance. Substrate recovery is demonstrated by facile dissolution of a Mo‐based sensor in deionized water.
