Soil Classification Using GATREE
This paper details the application of a genetic programming framework for classification of decision tree of Soil data to classify soil texture. The database contains measurements of soil profile data. We have applied GATree for generating classification decision tree. GATree is a decision tree builder that is based on Genetic Algorithms (GAs).

Characteristic variations in reflectance of surface soils [PDF]
Surface soil samples from a wide range of naturally occurring soils were obtained for the purpose of studying the characteristic variations in soil reflectance as these variations relate to other soil properties and soil classification.

The Use of Satellite Remote Sensing Data and Geographic Information Systems on Critical Land Analysis [PDF]
Critical land classification can be analyzed using combination between Top Soil Thickness - Land erosion method, and BRLT methods. Both methods are needed soil erosion data as one of input data.

Optimal mapping of terrestrial gamma dose rates using geological parent material and aerogeophysical survey data [PDF]
Regulatory authorities need ways to estimate natural terrestrial gamma radiation dose rates (nGy h−1) across the landscape accurately, to assess its potential deleterious health effects. The primary method for estimating outdoor dose rate is to use an in

This study reveals that m6A regulators cooperatively upregulate BGN in melanoma, promoting malignancy. Within the tumor microenvironment, CAFs show highest BGN expression. The BGN/MDK axis mediates cancer‐stroma crosstalk, driving normal fibroblast (NF) activation and enhancing the pro‐tumor effect of CAFs, highlighting a promising therapeutic target ...

A simulation study of scene confusion factors in sensing soil moisture from orbital radar [PDF]
Simulated C-band radar imagery for a 124-km by 108-km test site in eastern Kansas is used to classify soil moisture. Simulated radar resolutions are 100 m by 100 m, 1 km by 1km, and 3 km by 3 km.

Paving the Way to Elucidate Hg's Role in Tumorigenesis
Tumorigenesis can result from diverse environmental carcinogens. Among them, mercury—a lifelong bioaccumulative Group 2B carcinogen—has tumorigenic potential that remains poorly understood due to confounding co‐exposures and limited organ‐specific data.

Based on the example of St-Petersburg a genetic diversity of natural, human-transformed and anthropogenic soils has been thoroughly studied at the urbanized territory of this city. Under consideration are changes in components of the soil cover caused by the human activities along with regularities in the soil cover formation that has being developed ...
