Stiffness‐Activated Stellate Cells Drive Pancreatic Cancer Liver Colonization via GMFG‐TNS4 Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fibrotic liver stiffness activates hepatic stellate cells through Piezo1‐dependent calcium influx and ER stress, promoting EV‐associated GMFG release. Delivered GMFG engages TNS4 in pancreatic cancer cells, triggering FAK/AKT signaling, adhesion, and fatty acid synthesis.

Advancing Fruit Bioimpedance Monitoring With Sustainable, Soft, And Bio‐Based Electrodes Beyond ECG

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Electrical impedance spectroscopy enables non‐destructive fruit quality monitoring, but conventional ECG and needle electrodes compromise signal stability, fruit physiology, and sustainability. This perspective highlights the transition toward soft, biocompatible, and biodegradable electrode interfaces based on natural substrates, bio‐derived ...

Investigation of the long-term tunnel settlement mechanisms of the first metro line in Shanghai

open access: yes, 2013
The long-term performance of a metro tunnel is obviously a major concern for the authority and designers responsible for its construction, as excessive tunnel settlement would affect the serviceability and safety of the entire metro system. In this study,
