Observations of soil heat flux at Pune using a heat flux plate
Measurements of soil heat flux were made over bare black cotton soil at Pune in the period June 1976 to February 1977, using a soil heat flux plate. Hourly values of soil heat flux from 00 to 24 LAT are presented for selected days typical of the monsoon, post-monsoon and winter seasons.

Determination of land surface heat fluxes over heterogeneous landscape of the Tibetan Plateau by using the MODIS and in situ data [PDF]
In this study, a parameterization methodology based on MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) and in situ data is proposed and tested for deriving the regional surface reflectance, surface temperature, net radiation flux, soil heat flux ...

Estimation of Corn Latent Heat Flux from High Resolution Thermal Imagery
Crop evapotranspiration (ET), which is directly related to latent heat flux, is also a key indicator in determining the water status of crops. In order to estimate the latent heat flux, two-source energy balance (TSEB) models have been developed for ...

Knowing of soil heat flow properties of a crop field inform the farmer about temperature conditions of seeds germination. Soil heat flow today is either measured or modeled. In our study we rely on the procedure developed by Sang-Ok Chung and Robert Horton (1987).

The surface heat flux density of a bare soil [PDF]
Abstract Half‐hourly measurements of soil surface heat flux density (G0 ), solar irradiance (S), and the surface energy balance components were made at Agassiz, b.c., in the spring and early summer of 1978 at two adjacent bare‐soil sites, one of which was culti‐packed while the other was disc‐harrowed.

Spatiotemporal Rule of Heat Transfer on a Soil/Finned Tube Interface
To efficiently harvest environmental micro-energy from shallow soil, simulated analysis, theoretical arithmetic and experimental verification are performed to explore the spatiotemporal rules of heat transfer on a soil/finned tube interface.
