Pyrolysis field ionization mass spectrometry of lignins, soil humic compounds and whole soil
Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis, 1985Abstract Pyrolysis, followed by field ionization mass spectrometry (FI-MS) of lignins, revealed a regular pattern of phenolic products related to the building blocks of these compounds. The signals were found to be related to dimers of the respective lignin alcohols in addition to their methylated derivatives. However, overlapping was observed in the

Ionization Behaviors in Various Soils Subjected to Impulse Currents
Journal of the Korean Institute of Illuminating and Electrical Installation Engineers, 2008This parer presents the soil ionization phenomena and parameters associated to characterize the transient performances of grounding system under lightning impulse Currents. Ionization properties in occurring some soil media were experimentally investigated.

Progress in Lightning Impulse Characteristics of Grounding Electrodes With Soil Ionization
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2015Grounding is the fundamental measure of lightning protection for power systems, industries, and buildings, and the lightning impulse behavior of grounding electrodes plays a very important role. How to correctly consider the lightning impulse characteristics of grounding electrodes is the fundament in lightning protection design.

Sorption of Ionizable Organic Amines on Soil and Their Effects on Phenanthrene Sorption
Water, Air, & Soil Pollution, 2015Sorption of four ionizable organic amines, n-hexylamine, trimethylamine, 1-naphthylamine, and phenylamine, on a soil sample were measured, and their effects on the sorption of phenanthrene (PHE) to the same adsorbent were studied. The aim of this study was to better clarify sorption mechanisms of chemicals with different polarity and ionization ...

The soil ionization influence on the lightning performance of transmission lines
Electrical Engineering (Archiv fur Elektrotechnik), 1999The paper presents a mathematical model for analyzing impulse characteristics of complex grounding grids in the cases with soil ionization. The model is based on the grounding grid equivalent circuit with lumped and current dependent parameters, described by a system of differential equations. The proposed model is convenient for practical application.
