Loss of Triazophos and Mevinphos in Soil
The Philippine Entomologist - Volume 3 Issue 5 & 6, 1978The loss of triozophos and mevinphos in soils under laboratory and semifield conditions was determined by gos chromatography. Mevinphos was less persistent than triosophos. Degradation rotes were rapid and varied with the. kind of insecticide as well as soil type.

Abiotic Loss of Chemicals in Soil
Hazardous Waste and Hazardous Materials, 1988ABSTRACT A laboratory study was conducted to evaluate the abiotic losses of organics in soil. 2,3- and 2,5-dichlorophenol were added to microcosms containing soil treated either by autoclaving or gamma irradiation or incubated under anoxic conditions. Biologically active aerobic microcosms were used as controls.

Effects of soil tillage on quality of soil loss
2011Quantity and quality of soil loss was measured on Stagnic Luvisol under six tillage treatments in the Central Croatia during the 15-year investigation cycle (1995-2010). The trial involved the following tilling treatments: 1. Black fallow ; 2. Tillage up and down the slope ; 3. No-tillage ; 4. Tillage across of the slope ; 5.

Event soil loss, runoff and the Universal Soil Loss Equation family of models: A review
Journal of Hydrology, 2010Summary The Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) is the most widely used and misused prediction equation in the world. Although it was designed to predict long-term average annual soil loss, it has the capacity to predict event soil losses reasonably well at some geographic locations and not well at others.

Topographic Signature of Soil Loss
The ever-evolving earth’s topography reflects the complex interaction of several geomorphic processes. These processes play a central role in how soil is detached, transported, and ultimately lost from a landscape. This raises a fundamental question: how does topography influence soil loss?Saba Shakeel Raina +2 more
