Systematic Benchmarking of a Noise‐Tolerant Conductive Hydrogel Electrode for Epidermal Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
General schematic of the approach. Abstract Conventional Silver/Silver Chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrodes remain the clinical standard for electrophysiological monitoring but are hindered by poor skin conformity, mechanical rigidity, and signal degradation, particularly under motion or sweat.

The use of ground penetrating radar to map soil physical properties that control water flow pathways in alluvial soils : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirement for the degree of Master of Science in Agriculture at Massey University, Manawatu, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Soil drainage models are vital for informing smart agricultural practices. Predicting soil drainage and zones where denitrification occurs, requires knowledge of the spatially varying subsurface features, for example soil-thickness, flow pathways, and ...

An Increasing Misalignment Between Crop Distribution and Environmental Resources Under Climate Change in China

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Climate change reshapes the spatial alignment between crop production and environmental resources. Using multi‐source data and a crop model, integrated climatic, water, and soil endowments for maize and wheat are quantified and compared with harvest distributions.

Evaluating Soil- Environment Inference Model (SOLIM) for Soil Mapping Based on Fuzzy Logic in Kashan

open access: yesعلوم آب و خاک, 2017
Typical routine surveys of soils are relatively expensive in terms of time and cost and due to the fact that maps have been traditionally developed and considering their dependence on expertschr('39') opinions, updating maps is time consuming and ...

Potential of EnMAP Hyperspectral Imagery for Regional-Scale Soil Organic Matter Mapping

open access: yesRemote Sensing
The emergence of new-generation hyperspectral satellites offers more potential for mapping soil properties. This study presents the first assessment of EnMAP (Environmental Mapping and Analysis Program) hyperspectral imagery for soil organic matter (SOM)

AgRISTARS: Early warning and crop condition assessment. Plant cover, soil temperature, freeze, water stress, and evapotranspiration conditions [PDF]

open access: yes
Emissive (10.5 to 12.5 microns) and reflective (0.55 to 1.1 microns) data for ten day scenes and infrared data for six night scenes of southern Texas were analyzed for plant cover, soil temperature, freeze, water stress, and evapotranspiration.

Single‐Cell Transcriptomics Reveals FLS2‐Dependent Hypoxia Signaling and ERF13‐Mediated Transcription During flg22‐Triggered Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study employs sc‐RNA sequencing, genetics, and phenotyping to systematically map the cell‐type‐specific immune responses triggered by flg22. It reveals FLS2‐dependent transcriptional reprogramming in epidermal and mesophyll cells, and uncovers crosstalk between immune and hypoxia signaling pathways.
