OsCPK12‐OsATPD1 Module Regulates Photosynthetic Acclimation to Light Stress in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
OsCPK12 interacts and phosphorylates OsAtpD1 at Ser8 in its transit peptide. This phosphorylation promote its chloroplast translocation, thereby maintaining ATP synthase activity and proton gradient (ΔpH) homeostasis and regulating photosynthetic acclimation, photoprotection, and repair under light stress.

Potassium fixation as affected by moisture conditions in some soils of Azerbaijan [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Potassium is the third macronutrient provided in a complete fertilizer. Exhaustive cropping of potassiumdemanding crops like potato, sunflower and sugar beet leads to depletion of soil non-exchangeable potassium and subsequent fixation of added ...

The GPX3‐VCAM1 Axis Gates Pro‐Fibrotic Tubule Cell Fate in Hyperuricemic Nephropathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hyperuricemia induces NLRP3 inflammasome signaling activation and downregulation of GPX3 in proximal tubular epithelial cells, leading to oxidative stress–driven VCAM1 upregulation, emergence of pro‐fibrotic proximal tubule cells, macrophage recruitment, and renal fibrosis.

Dual Repression by IPA1 Fine‐Tunes OsbZIP79‐Mediated Salt Tolerance in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dual repression by IPA1 fine‐tunes OsbZIP79‐mediated salt tolerance in rice: direct transcriptional inhibition under normal conditions and salt‐induced degradation under stress. This dual mechanism activates OsbZIP79 to regulate Na+/K+ homeostasis and redox balance via downstream genes, enabling optimal salt stress response.
