Preliminary study on the contribution of osmotic effects for the electrical resistivity of sands [PDF]
Electrical resistivity of soils can be used to evaluate the level of contamination in soils in geophysical prospection tests. The chemical composition of pore fluid also corresponds to a given water potential, named as osmotic suction.

THE INFLUENCE OF TREE INDUCE SUCTION ON SOIL SUCTION PROFILES
This study provided an investigation of active root tree zone located at the toe of the slope. This section of slope generated suction due to tree water uptake during dry season. A field mon itoring set up program was carried out to collect m atric suction data at slope with absent of a tree and with a tree located at toe of the slope.

Continuous wet‐spinning of PANI with TeNWs yields a multifunctional microfiber. Oriented TeNWs impose chain alignment and enhance π‐electron delocalization, boosting the Seebeck coefficient to 59.9 µV K−1 for passive temperature sensing (1 K detection limit), while achieving high pH sensitivity (59.25 mV pH−1) and rapid NH3 response (0.96 s).

ABSTRACT This study investigates the flow of a magnetized hybrid nanofluid over a permeable stretching surface. The mass and thermal transport within the system is regulated using the Cattaneo–Christov flux theory. The fluid is additionally subjected to thermophoresis, chemical reaction, Brownian motion, and activation energy effects.
