Study on the emergence of the raspberry cane midge (Resseliella theobaldi Barnes) on the basis of temperature data and catches of sex pheromone traps

open access: yesInternational Journal of Horticultural Science, 2008
Effective chemical protection against the raspberry cane midge (Resseliella theobaldi) should be based on the monitoring of the emergence of the pest. Before the application of sex pheromone traps, the results of several international studies carried out

Clean‐Limit 2D Superconductivity in a Thick Exfoliated Kagome Film

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports clean‐limit 2D superconductivity in a thick kagome system, analogous to the 3D case. It observes a drop in superfluid stiffness near the superconducting transition and a cusp‐like feature in the angular dependence of the upper critical field.

Effects of bryophyte and lichen cover on permafrost soil temperature at large scale

open access: yes, 2016
. Bryophyte and lichen cover on the forest floor at high latitudes exerts an insulating effect on the ground. In this way, the cover decreases mean annual soil temperature and can protect permafrost soil. Climate change, however, may change bryophyte and

Functional Materials for Environmental Energy Harvesting in Smart Agriculture via Triboelectric Nanogenerators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores functional and responsive materials for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) in sustainable smart agriculture. It examines how particulate contamination and dirt affect charge transfer and efficiency. Environmental challenges and strategies to enhance durability and responsiveness are outlined, including active functional layers ...
