Soil Adaptability for No-Tillage

1984
The unique properties of individual soils determine their limitations and suitability for land use. Because of these wide ranges of differences among soils of the world it is understandable that no one tillage system would be best suited for all soils.

Soil tillage - soil biogenity

2012
My acquaintance with Marta is not a representative number of years, but this friendship is influenced on me and my professional occupation on a considerable extent. I met Marta 2005 at the international congress. Even then I was impressed with her simplicity, but also a large expertise in the scope of soil tillage.

Influence of Soil Tillage on Soil Compaction

2009
Soil compaction is an important process of soil degradation affecting the crop-producing role of soil, such as its vulnerability to soil erosion, soil water and nutrient availability, natural biological activity of soil, etc. Soil compaction is manifested by total deterioration of the regime of the physiological profile of soil.

Influence of tillage on soil erosion

2011
Our objectives were to quantify water erosion during the 15-year investigation cycle (1995-2010) on Stagnic Luvisols, in central Croatia, under common agricultural grown crops in six tillage treatments. The largest erosion in the 15-year period was recorded in the check treatment.

Environmental Effects of Soil Tillage.

2008
Nowadays to soil tillage it has not only requested to improve crop yield, but also to contribute to mitigate environmental pollution. As regards the main effects of tillage on soil quality, the effects on soil organic matter (SOM) conservation, erosion control and soil compacting are presented.
