Advanced Science, Volume 9, Issue 22, August 5, 2022., 2022 Sulfur and MoSn point defects are selectively created in various densities on suspended monolayer MoS2 using helium‐ and gallium‐ion‐beam lithography, subsequently followed by AFM nanoindentation test. Atomic scale imaging revels that different point defects lead to distinct fracture structures and mechanical characteristics.
