Nucleoside‐Based Hydrogel Platform Synergizes with Photothermal Effects for Enhanced Biofilm Eradication Against Periodontitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A synergistic antibiofilm hydrogel platform (ZBAg@FNP) is developed by encapsulating an organic small‐molecule photothermal agent (FNP) within a silver ion‐mediated supramolecular hydrogel (ZBAg), enabling photothermal disruption of biofilm integrity and controlled Ag⁺ ion release upon irradiation.

A Yolk@Shell Photothermal Structure for Integrated Solar‐Driven Undrinkable Water Purification and Thermoelectric Power Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A yolk@shell structured photothermal evaporator was prepared via simple sol‐gel and spray coating methods. By taking advantage of the unique yolk@shell structure, the position of the TE module within the evaporator can be optimized without affects its water evaporation performance. This results in efficient and stable evaporation (3.08‐3.17 kg m−2 h−1)‐

Sol-gel synthesis of SiBOC glasses

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1998
Abstract Silicon oxycarbide glass containing boron was prepared by pyrolysis of a sol-gel precursor in inert atmosphere. A structural characterization of the gel as well as of the SiBOC glass at various stages of the pyrolysis treatment has been performed. The precursor gels consists of SiOSi bonds with boron-rich regions in which BOB  and/or

Sol–gel synthesis of BaTi2O5

Materials Letters, 2003
Abstract BaTi 2 O 5 phase was synthesized by a sol–gel method using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) as a chelating agent. A light yellow, molecular-level, homogeneously mixed gel was prepared and transferred into a resin precursor through charring.

Sol-gel synthesis of phosphates

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1992
Phosphate and silicate materials exhibit similar structures but their solution chemistry is very different. Polyphosphates cannot be synthesized under ambient conditions from PO(OR)3 or PO(OH)3 solutions. More convenient PO(OH)3−x(OR)x precursors have been obtained via the dissolution of P2O5 in alcohols.
