Self-cleaning Properties of Thin Printed Layers of Titanium Dioxide [PDF]

Sol-gel synthesis of NZP phosphates [PDF]
Nanosized zirconium orthophosphate powders NaZr???(PO???)??? were synthesized by the sol-gel method. Evolution of the phase composition of the synthesized powder depending on the excess amount of Na???CO??? was investigated. Obtained phosphates were characterized by means of XRD, DTA/TGA, electron microscopy and IR spectroscopy methods.

Interconnected Porous Hydrogels with Tunable Anisotropy Through Aqueous Emulsion Bioprinting
A 3D bioprintable microporous bioink is developed using an aqueous two‐phase system (ATPS) composed of extracellular matrix (ECM) mimetic biopolymers. The ATPS bioink enables the fabrication of interconnected porous architectures with up to 70% porosity, supporting long‐term cell viability and 3D cell alignment, enabling a simultaneous generation of ...

Introducing Pure Calcium Orthophosphate Gels and Aerogels
The synthesis of calcium phosphate‐based gels and aerogels is reported, which exhibit highly porous structures built up of networks of nanoparticles. In case of amorphous aerogels, this leads to yet unmatched specific BET surface areas, making these materials especially interesting for biomedical applications.

A dual‐functional Li2B4O7 coating on carbon fibers is designed to resolve the critical interfacial degradation in sulfide all‐solid‐state batteries. The conformal layer acts as a physical barrier to suppress parasitic reactions while its unique dielectric properties simultaneously facilitate Li+ transport.
