Associations between a feral equid and the Sonoran Desert ecosystem Asociaciones Entre un Equino Salvaje y el Ecosistema del Desierto Sonorense

We documented negative associations between feral burros and several elements of the Sonoran Desert ecosystem, and suggest that differences associated with this feral equid may be ecologically important and may have the potential to affect the long‐term viability of this ecosystem.
