Search For Solar Atmospheric Neutrinos With The Icecube Neutrino Observatory

open access: green, 2018
Cosmic ray interactions with the solar atmosphere are expected to generate energetic neutrinos that might be observable with neutrino telescopes, such as IceCube. These so called solar atmospheric neutrinos are expected to have a harder energy spectrum compared to those generated in the Earth atmosphere.

Solar and atmospheric neutrinos in three generations with a magnetic moment [PDF]

open access: greenPhysical Review D, 1995
A solution to the solar and atomospheric neutrino problems in three generations in the joint context of matter oscillations and the magnetic moment is investigated. An appropriate rotation of the evolution Hamiltonian reduces the three generation case to a two generation one.

A Mass Matrix for Atmospheric, Solar, and LSND Neutrino Oscillations [PDF]

open access: greenPhysical Review D, 1999
We construct a mass matrix for the four neutrino flavors, three active and one sterile, needed to fit oscillations in all three neutrino experiments: atmospheric, solar, and LSND, simultaneously. It organizes the neutrinos into two doublets whose central values are about 1 eV apart, and whose splittings are of the order of 10^(-3) eV.

Search for solar atmospheric neutrinos with the ANTARES neutrino telescope [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2022
Abstract Solar Atmospheric Neutrinos (SAνs) are produced by the interaction of cosmic rays with the solar medium. The detection of SAνs would provide useful information on the composition of primary cosmic rays as well as the solar density.

Neutrino oscillation constraints on U(1)′ models: from non-standard interactions to long-range forces

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We quantify the effect of gauge bosons from a weakly coupled lepton flavor dependent U(1)′ interaction on the matter background in the evolution of solar, atmospheric, reactor and long-baseline accelerator neutrinos in the global analysis of oscillation ...

Neutrino oscillations in matter: from microscopic to macroscopic description

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Neutrino flavour transmutations in nonuniform matter are described by a Schrödinger-like evolution equation with coordinate-dependent potential. In all the derivations of this equation it is assumed that the potential, which is due to coherent forward ...
