Narrow-bandwidth solar upconversion: design principles, efficiency limits, and case studies
We employ a detailed balance approach to model a single-junction solar cell with a realistic narrow-band, non-unity-quantum-yield upconverter. As upconverter bandwidths are increased from 0 to 0.5 eV, maximum cell efficiencies increase from the Shockley ...

The Synthesis of a π-Extended Tetrathiafulvalene Porphyrin for MOF Formation and Use in Solar Cells [PDF]
With the purpose of creating a conjugated system for potential experiments in solar cell applications, the first π-extended TTF (ExTTF) porphyrin with a functionalizable handle (carboxylic ester) was synthesized. The overall yield was 0.249%.

The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.
