Flexible Leaf‐Like Fuel Cell From Plasmonic Janus Nanosheet

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A flexible leaf‐like fuel cell is fabricated by conductive gold nanowire sponge‐supported plasmonic Janus nanosheet, which can generate a power of 8.93 mW cm⁻2 with less than 10% performance deterioration even being bent or twisted. Further assembly in a tree‐like layout demonstrates omnidirectional light harvesting capability and wind resistance ...

A Homeostatic Photonic Device Integrating Vapor‐Regulated Thermo‐Optical Feedback Mechanisms

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An inorganic homeostatic photonic device is designed to autonomously regulate light, temperature, and vapor sorption through integrated positive and negative feedback mechanisms at multiple wavelengths. The device uses a graded mesoporous 1D photonic crystal coupled with a photothermal layer.

A three solar cell system based on a self-supporting, transparent AlGaAs top solar cell [PDF]

open access: yes
Development of a three solar cell stack can lead to practical efficiencies greater than 30 percent (1x,AM0). A theoretical efficiency limitation of 43.7 percent at AM0 and one sun is predicted by this model.

Ferrocene Derivatives Enable Ultrasensitive Perovskite Photodetectors with Enhanced Reverse Bias Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Simple method for I-V characterization curve for low power solar cell using arduino nano

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2018
In general, solar cells properties were measured under standardized environment. Recent method uses a Solar Simulator or Sun Simulator to measure a solar cell characteristic by the condition of 1000 W/m2 irradiance and 25°C temperature.
