Improved equivalent circuit and analytical model for amorphous silicon solar cells and modules [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
An improved equivalent circuit for hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) solar cells and modules is presented. It is based on the classic combination of a diode with an exponential current-voltage characteristic, of a photocurrent source plus a new ...

High Light Utilization and Color Rendering in Vacuum‐Deposited Semitransparent Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...

3D Anodic Alumina Nanoarchitectures: A Decade of Progress from Foundational Science to Functional Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.
