Savannah and Boreal Biomass Burning as a Source for Cloud Condensation Nuclei
Abstract Aerosol particles emitted in wildfires can contribute to radiative forcing via aerosol‐cloud interactions and by directly interacting with solar radiation. Wildfire emissions increase the concentration of cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) in the atmosphere and thus affect cloud properties (e.g., cloud brightness).

Combined Solar Chimney Power Plant and Solar Still
This study presents solar chimney power plantintegrated with seawater desalination system. A simplemathematical model is based on the conservation of massand energy. The results show that the integrated system ofsolar chimney power plant and solar still can achievesimultaneously. The analysis is performed for bothsummer and winter at latitude 30oN.

Surface‐Driven Protocell Formation in Geologically Relevant Early Earth Environment
Illustration of a prebiotic early‐Earth environment showing cell‐like protocells (blue spheres) and other complex organic molecules (pink and green spheres) distributed across terrestrial surfaces and within subsurface niches. Volcanic landscapes and mineral‐rich substrates provide diverse geochemical settings for the assembly and evolution of ...

Urban and Power Plant NOx Emissions in Sub‐Saharan Africa Inferred From TROPOMI
Abstract Nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions are increasing rapidly in Sub‐Saharan Africa, affecting local air quality. Outside South Africa, most hotspots are relatively small, posing a challenge for traditional top‐down inversions. We tailor an existing top‐down wind rotation and Gaussian plume fit inversion to suit the relatively small NOx hotspots for ...
