First Tellurite Composite Fiber with NIR‐Driven Green Persistent Luminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 35, December 12, 2025.
The first composite fiber based on SrAl2O4:Eu2+, Dy3+ PeL phosphors embedded in Yb3+/Tm3+ co‐doped tellurite glass is developed. The fiber exhibits green afterglow driven by 980 nm laser injection, suggesting that the PeL phosphors survive the fabrication process and the blue upconversion from the Yb3+/Tm3+ co‐doped glass matrix is strong enough to ...

Bi–Sb Co‐Alloying Tunes Photoexcited State Dynamics in (4FPEA)4AgBi1−xSbxI8 Layered Double Perovskites through Structural Confinement

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 36, December 19, 2025.
Lead‐free double perovskites are emerging alternatives to lead‐halide analogues, leveraging low toxicity and highly tunable chemical compositions. These materials possess unique carrier dynamics, often governed by self‐trapped exciton (STE)‐mediated recombination.

Mechanistic Insights into Ionic Conduction in Lead Halide Perovskites and Perovskite‐Inspired Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 45, December 2, 2025.
This study provides mechanistic insights into ionic conduction in lead halide perovskites (LHPs) and perovskite‐inspired materials (PIMs). By comparing ionic conduction in PIMs with the well‐studied LHPs, correlations are established between ionic transport, anomalous device kinetics, and operational stability.
