Detecting Solar Neutrino Flare in Megaton and km^3 detectors
To foresee a solar flare neutrino signal we infer its upper and lower bound. The upper bound was derived since a few years by general energy equipartition arguments on observed solar particle flare.

GOES‐R Series X‐Ray Sensor (XRS): 1. Design and Pre‐Flight Calibration
Abstract The X‐Ray Sensor (XRS) has been making full‐disk observations of the solar soft X‐ray irradiance onboard National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites since 1975. Critical information about solar activity for space weather operations is provided by XRS measurements, such as the ...

SOLAR NEUTRINO PHYSICS: SENSITIVITY TO LIGHT DARK MATTER PARTICLES [PDF]
Neutrinos are produced in several neutrino nuclear reactions of the proton–proton chain and carbon–nitrogen–oxygen cycle that take place at different radii of the Sun's core. Hence, measurements of solar neutrino fluxes provide a precise determination of

Status of direct determination of solar neutrino fluxes after Borexino
We determine the solar neutrino fluxes from the global analysis of the most up-to-date terrestrial and solar neutrino data including the final results of the three phases of Borexino.

Majorana Neutrino Masses from Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay and Cosmology [PDF]
When three Majorana neutrinos describe the solar and atmospheric neutrino data via oscillations, a nonzero measurement of neutrinoless double beta ($0\nu\beta\beta$) decay can determine the sum of neutrino masses $\sum m_\nu$ if the solar solution has ...

Recent Developments in Halide Perovskite Nanocrystals for Indirect X‐ray Detection
Perovskite nanocrystals act as scintillators under X‐ray illumination with different conversion yield, stability, or decay times and outperform commercial materials, depending on their composition, host matrix, and luminescence process. Besides the lead halide perovskites, there are lead‐free alternatives providing self‐trapped exciton emission ...

Muon and Tau Neutrinos Spectra from Solar Flares
Solar neutrino flares and mixing are considered. Most power-full solar flare as the ones occurred on 23th February 1956, September 29th 1989, 28th October and on 2nd-4th November 2003 are sources of cosmic rays, X, gamma and neutrino bursts. These flares

Constraints on Weakly Mixed Sterile Neutrinos in the Light of SNO Salt Phase and 766.3 Ty KamLAND Data [PDF]
The possibility of flavor transitions into sterile neutrinos (accompanying the dominant LMA transitions) in the solar boron neutrino flux has been examined in a scenario proposed by Hollanda and Smirnov to overcome some generic problems of the pure LMA ...
