Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

Rapid Steam‐Assisted Temperature Swing Adsorption for Direct Air Capture Using a Rotary Adsorber
Direct air capture (DAC) of CO2 is a key solution for balancing hard‐to‐abate carbon emissions and plays a crucial role in achieving net zero. Common DAC methods typically employ fixed bed reactors packed with granular adsorbents, which suffer from high ...

Tandem organic solar cells with optimized ternary acceptor engineering achieved a power conversion efficiency of 15.53% and enabled a high‐voltage mini‐module (Voc 6.11 V). Integration into a bias‐free PV‐EC system further demonstrated efficient solar‐to‐ammonia (STA) conversion (97% Faradaic Efficiency, 4± 2% STA efficiency), highlighting scalable ...

Low-Loss Singulation of TOPCon Half Solar Cells by TLS and Al2O3 Edge Passivation
This work addresses the separation of tunnel-oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) host solar cells into half solar cells. It demonstrates the feasibility of achieving almost loss-free cell performance after edge passivation by the passivated edge ...

Redox dual‐defects (Cs substitution and O vacancies) in 2D hydrated WO3 steer O2 activation toward selective singlet oxygen evolution. WO‐CO achieves 8.6–15.8 times higher 1O2 production than single‐defect or pristine catalysts, enabling efficient pollutant mineralization via a pathway‐selective photocatalytic mechanism.
