Estimating Global Solar Radiation from Empirical Models: An Application
Solar radiation data are required for many applications and many areas of research. In order to achieve this, several empirical models have been suggested to predict the global solar radiation in Turkey and other countries.

Could Solar Radiation Pressure Explain ‘Oumuamua’s Peculiar Acceleration? [PDF]
Abstract ‘Oumuamua (1I/2017 U1) is the first object of interstellar origin observed in the solar system. Recently, Micheli et al. reported that ‘Oumuamua showed deviations from a Keplerian orbit at a high statistical significance. The observed trajectory is best explained by an excess radial acceleration Δa ∝ r −2 ...

Designed Lewis Acid–Base Passivation for High Performance Perovskite Solar Cells
ABSTRACT Silicon's high cost and long energy payback time remain major barriers to the global expansion of solar power. In contrast, metal–halide perovskites offer abundant, solution‐processable absorbers, and have achieved efficiencies of 25%–30%, positioning them as strong competitors to silicon.

Sap flow of pecan trees in a US Southeastern orchard
Sap flow methods are widely used to estimate water use through transpiration in orchards. This study reports for the first time on pecan tree sap flow properties observed in a micro-irrigated orchard in the southeastern US in 2022 and 2023.

Heliotropic dust rings for Earth climate engineering
This paper examines the concept of a Sun-pointing elliptical Earth ring comprised of dust grains to offset global warming. A new family of non-Keplerian periodic orbits, under the effects of solar radiation pressure and the Earth's J(2) oblateness ...
