Pulsating radio emissions from the solar corona
Solar Physics, 1970Three solar outbursts which show pulsating radio emissions at metric waves (239 MHz) are examined. The behaviour of the single frequency, high-time resolution records and the spectral diagrams seem to indicate that such phenomena are peculiar phases of type IV radiation, perhaps connected with absorptions in the solar corona.

Directivity of Radio Emission from Solar Flares
Publications of the Astronomical Society of Japan, 1985Abstract The center-limb variation of the solar microwave burst intensity is investigated statistically with a sufficient number of events (~ 1000) at 17 GHz far above the mean turnover frequency of the microwave burst spectrum. The intensity of bursts (except that of GRF bursts) is independent of the disk longitude, which is slightly ...

Sporadic solar radio emission at decameter wavelengths
2005Results of observations of the solar sporadic radio emission in decameter range are presented. These observations were carried out at UTR-2 radio telescope with 60-channel spectrometer and DSP (Digital Spectral Polarimeter) last years. Particular attention is devoted to such components of sporadic radio emission as Type III bursts, Type II bursts ...

Full PIC simulations of solar radio emission
2017Solar radio emissions are electromagnetic (EM) waves emitted in the solar wind plasma as a consequence of electron beams accelerated during solar flares or interplanetary shocks such as ICMEs. To describe their origin, a multi-stage model has been proposed in the 60s which considers a succession of non-linear three-wave interaction processes.
