Evaluation of Global Solar Radiation Received by a Spherical Solar Collector

In the paper the global solar radiation incident on a fixed spherical solar collector is evaluated and compared to a south oriented with 46 grade tilt angle fixed flat plate solar collector. Mean daily and hourly solar radiation are calculated from existing data for Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
