Influences of Optical Factors on the Performance of the Solar Furnace
In this paper, an optical structure design for a solar furnace is described. Based on this configuration, Monte Carlo ray tracing simulations are carried out to analyze the influences of four optical factors on the concentrated solar heat flux ...

Feedback stabilization of displaced periodic orbits : Application to binary asteroid [PDF]
This paper investigates displaced periodic orbits at linear order in the circular restricted Earth-Moon system (CRTBP), where the third massless body utilizes a hybrid of solar sail and a solar electric propulsion (SEP).

In this article, a water‐evaporation driven energy harvester is devised that works even in the absence of sunlight. This is achieved by combining PVA hydrogel with thermoelectrics (TEG) to directly capture energy from water evaporation. Under mild conditions (RH 40%, T of 26 °C, and 2.8 m s−1 wind), 1.71 mW (1.02 W m−2) power can be generated, >3 fold ...

Inner solar system material discovered in the Oort cloud
Fresh inner solar system material preserved in the Oort cloud may hold the key to understanding our solar system formation. We have observed C/2014 S3 (PANSTARRS), a recently discovered object on a cometary orbit coming from the Oort cloud that is ...

TESS in the Solar System [PDF]
The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), launched successfully on 18th of April, 2018, will observe nearly the full sky and will provide time-series imaging data in ~27-day-long campaigns. TESS is equipped with 4 cameras; each has a field-of-view of 24x24 degrees. During the first two years of the primary mission, one of these cameras, Camera #

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

This work presents π–conjugated polymers based on dihydropyrazine (DHP) and ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), developed to produce highly conductive, flexible films for printed electronics. By optimizing the DHP and EDOT ratio, strong and compact π–π stacking is achieved, resulting in polymer films with conductivities up to 1700 S cm−1 under ambient ...
