In Bangladesh, there are roughly 31 marine passenger ships that are in operation. These ships might be a good location for solar photovoltaic (PV) plants since solar energy is the best renewable energy to replace the fossil fuel used in the ships.

Optimisation of aiming strategies in solar tower power plants [PDF]
The distribution of temperature on a Solar Power Tower (SPT) plant receiver directly affects the lifespan of the structure and energy generated by the plant. Temperature peaks and uneven distributions can be caused by the aiming strategy enforced on the heliostat field.

The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...

Flux Density Measurement on Large-Scale Receivers [PDF]
Commercial solar tower plants have much larger aperture surfaces than the receiver prototypes tested in earlier R&D projects. Existing methods to measure the solar flux density in the receiver aperture face new challenges regarding the receiver size ...

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.
